Een KennisKring in samenwerking met het Global Microsoft Azure Maps team
Microsoft bedient samen met partners in de hele wereld haar gebruikers met Location Awareness Solutions.
Velen kennen Bing maps als 'particulier' kaartplatform; en zo staat de term Azure al snel gelijk aan cloud-computing. In mei 2023 heeft Microsoft nieuws gepresenteerd over integraties van onder andere Bing en Azure Maps, de impact van de exclusieve samenwerking met TomTom en meer.
In het reguliere Geo-werkveld in Nederland zijn de Location Awareness Solutions van Microsoft niet zo bekend. In deze KennisKring zijn we ingegaan op de ambities van deze tech-gigant op gebied van GIS/Mapping/Location-Intelligence. Zowel kennis vanuit de productgroepen als vanuit markt en oplossingen kwamen ruimschoots aan bod.
